I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca. I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world and am a proud mommy to our cat, Brutus. I love spending time with my family and friends, I am so blessed to have them in my life. I enjoy going being out doors, gardening, reading, comics, video games and finding new interesting recipes to cook.

I have always loved to draw, paint, take photos and be creative through many different mediums. I spent a lot of time outdoors at parks, the beach, the zoo and Sea World (still do) when I was growing up and nature has a huge influence on my work, especially in my photographs. My mom and grandma were very creative and had vivid imaginations, and thanks to them, I have been blessed with both gifts. My imagination and love of being creative fuels each and every one my creations.

The Crafty Maiden was founded on November 6, 2011. I create original pieces which include jewelry and other accessories, paintings, photography and anything that strikes my fancy. I don't have a favorite medium, instead I use many different techniques from salting my paintings to decoupage to wire work and wood burning. I am influenced by my love of nature, the Victorian age, a little bit of goth, some geek and steampunk. I try to incorporate all of these loves and passions into each and every piece I create.
